Private Personal Training

One-on-one sessions with a certified NSCA coach. Program is written to your body, your schedule, and your goal, adjusted every four weeks based on results. 60 minutes.

    $35/session

    Groups of 3 to 6 athletes train together under coach supervision. Same programming rigour as private sessions at a fraction of the cost. Max 6 per time slot.

  • 10-Session Pack

    $750

    Pre-purchase 10 private sessions and save. Sessions never expire. Use them for one-on-one coaching, or spread across different programs.

  • Unlimited Monthly Membership

    $149/mo

    Unlimited access to all scheduled group classes plus one complimentary private session each month. Best value for consistent trainers.

  • Online Coaching

    Custom programming delivered through our coaching app, with weekly check-ins and form reviews via video. Ideal for clients who travel or prefer to train independently.

Apex started in 2018 when head coach Alex Mercer left a big-box gym frustrated by cookie-cutter programs and clients who stopped seeing results after month two. The studio is small by design: twelve racks, no cardio bunny machines, and a coaching team that knows every client by name and by number. We track your lifts, your sleep, and your progress photos so you never plateau because nobody noticed. If you are ready to train with intention, the door is open.

Alex holds an NSCA-CSCS and spent eight years in competitive strength before pivoting to coaching full-time. He programs for powerlifters, endurance athletes, and executives who want performance without injury.

Riley is ACE-certified with a background in varsity rugby conditioning. She runs most of the small-group sessions and specializes in body recomposition and first-time lifters.

Common questions

Do I need prior experience to join?
No. We take complete beginners every week. Your first session includes a movement screen and a goal conversation so we know where to start. We have never written the same program twice.
What is included in the trial session?
A 60-minute private session with a coach: a movement screen, a conversation about your goals and history, and a full workout at your current level. There is no sales pitch and no obligation to continue.
How often should I train?
For most goals, 3 sessions per week is the sweet spot. We will give you an honest recommendation based on your schedule and recovery. More is not always better, and we will tell you that.
Can I switch between private and small-group?
Yes. The 10-Session Pack and Monthly Membership both let you mix private coaching and group sessions however you like. Just book through the app and we will confirm your spot.
Is the online coaching real coaching or just an app?
Real coaching. Alex or Riley writes your program by hand each month, reviews your weekly check-in video, and adjusts based on what they see. The app is just the delivery method.
